About Us

Quality

Fiber optics components, just like rebuilt car engines, English muffins, and hotel rooms, are manufactured in varying degrees of quality. Some companies will sell only the cheap stuff. Other companies will carry both the cheap stuff and the good stuff. Our philosophy is to only carry the best. We are serious about providing high-performance, top quality networking components. As a customer that has to depend on the installed equipment, you should be just as serious, and that's why we only offer the best. All of our connectors are triple-tested, and you will receive individual test results for each patch cable we ship. Our philosophy is to supply only the best, so that our customers know that they can always depend on us.

Conflict Minerals Policy

Conflict minerals originating from the Democratic Republic of the Congo DRC are sometimes mined and sold under the control of armed groups to finance conflict characterized by extreme levels of violence. Some of these minerals can make their way into the supply chains of the products used around the world, including those in the electronics industry. Fiber.com's suppliers acquire and use conflict minerals from multiple sources worldwide. As part of our commitment to corporate responsibility and respecting human rights in our own operations and in our global supply chain, it is our goal to use tantalum, tin, tungsten and gold in our products that do not directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the DRC or adjoining countries while continuing to support responsible mineral sourcing in the region. Fiber.com expects our suppliers to have in place policies and due diligence measures that will enable us to reasonably assure that products and components supplied to us containing conflict minerals are DRC conflict free. We expect our suppliers to conduct their business in alignment with fiber.com’s supply chain responsibility expectations. In support of this policy, fiber.com will Exercise due diligence with relevant suppliers and encourage our suppliers to do likewise with their suppliers. Provide, and expect our suppliers to cooperate in providing, due diligence information to confirm the tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold in our supply-chain are conflict free. Collaborate with our suppliers and others on industry-wide solutions to enable products that are DRC conflict free. Typically, NO TANTALUM, TIN, TUNGSTON, OR GOLD, are used in the manufacture of fiber optic assemblies. We have nevertheless adopted this policy to join the chain of responsible corporate stewards of global human rights.
